Welcome To The New Joseph McManners site...

Joseph McManners is not your average 15-year-old boy. His long blonde hair, funky skater clothes, and enthusiasm for Coldplay and Keane give the impression that he would fit in perfectly as the fifth member of McFly. However Joseph has been blessed with a pure, heavenly treble voice, which is debuted on his impressive new album 'In Dreams' released on the 5th December.

'In Dreams' is a collection of Joseph's favourite songs, which have inspired him throughout his childhood. Tracks include 'Bright Eyes' from the legendary film animation Watership Down, 'Walking in the Air' from The Snowman, John Rutter's haunting 'Pie Jesu', Howard Shore's magical 'In Dreams' from the epic Lord of the Rings trilogy, the ever popular 'Psalm 23', Elton John's 'Circle of Life' from The Lion King (a duet with Amici Forever's Jo Appleby) and 'Where is Love' from the hit musical Oliver.

Joseph's compelling personality and unique voice was first discovered through a BBC Talent search in 2004, where he was selected from 25,000 children to play The Little Prince in the BBC2 screened opera directed by Francesca Zambello. Leaving life at his village school in Canterbury, Joseph took to the stage starring alongside the likes of Aled Jones, Willard White and Lesley Garrett. Lesley Garrett said:
'Joseph is so gorgeous. He's one of the most talented people I've ever worked with. He's such a wonderfully gifted natural performer and he has a beautiful voice. There's a melancholy to his sound, which is heart-rending.'

Just a year ago Joseph performed in the title role of Oliver alongside the legendary Ron Moody, Fagin from the 1968 film. In conjunction with the release of his debut album, his next major performance will be part of a Classic FM concert at London's Royal Albert Hall alongside Aled Jones and Joshua Bell. Says Joseph 'Everything is so exciting at the moment. My school friends back home in Canterbury can't quite believe what I am up to. I can't wait for everyone to hear my new album'.
